Photography

This is the display of some of my photography work that I’ve amassed over the years.  I love shooting – and usually don’t mind going out and taking a few shots for free if you’re on a tight budget – and I’m also a certified graphic artist, meaning that I edit and correct portraits to give the most professional look.  So if you’re looking to have your [or someone you know] picture taken, just contact me and we can talk business!

Every now and then, take a good look at something not made with hands: a mountain, a star, the curve of a stream. there will come to you wisdom and patience, and above all, the assurance that you are not alone in the world.

Artists use lies to tell the truth. Yes, I created a lie. But because you believed it, you found something true about yourself.

We gaze continually at the world and it grows dull in our perceptions. Yet seen from another’s vantage point, as if new, it may still take the breath away.

We are shaped by our thoughts; we become what we think. When the mind is pure, joy follows like a shadow that never leaves.

It’s time to either get busy living, or get busy dying.

It’s not who we are beneath, but what we do that defines us.

There’s a notion I’d like to see buried: the ordinary person. Ridiculous. There is no ordinary person.

Love is a canvas furnished by Nature and embroidered by imagination.

To be yourself in a world that is doing its best, day and night, to make you like everybody else — is to fight the hardest battle any human being can fight.

But friendship is precious, not only in the shade, but in the sunshine of life, and thanks to a benevolent arrangement the greater part of life is sunshine.

It seems strange that my life should end in such a terrible place, but for three years I had roses, and apologized to no one.

That pleasure which is at once the most pure, the most elevating and the most intense, is derived, I maintain, from the contemplation of the beautiful.
